runnin' down a dream.

25 year old Hoosier, chasing a wagon or something like that.
I wish I didn't know so much about running injuries.
I like to run and pretend to do crossfit and cook and go on adventures.

Trying to learn how to reign in my enthusiasm and prevent further overtraining injuries while still pushing myself.

I live in the middle of nowhere, but I can’t complain about clear starry nights, 25 acres of frolic-worthy land, a huge garden, and flowers galore. However, I can and probably will complain about the distance from the nearest gym.

Sunny days are my favorite, followed closely by rainy days and snowy days. The only days I don’t really like are the oppressively cloudy ones.

I graduated from a small liberal arts university in 2010 with a degree in English and a minor in Women’s Studies. My campus was a truly magical place and I miss it very much.

I have lots of friends in Indiana, but many of my closest friends are spread out all over the country and the world: the UK, Korea, Seattle, Madison, Houston, Chicago, DC, and of course the Twin Cities, where I spent with a year serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA.

I’ve been running off and on since eighth grade. Something about it calls to me and keeps me coming back.

I love hiking, Turbokick, and kayaking. I should do more yoga, but I struggle with it in a non-class setting.

I’m an ENFP in work situations, but tend to be an introvert outside of work. I’m also very much a Libra, and am probably best described as a cynical optimist. I’m always looking for my next adventure and dreaming of traveling the world.
